R.I.P Bruce Medley! The memories are both numerous and enormous. We met back in 1994 when the wife and I brought out daughter to the 4-6 grade recreational basketball clinic in Franklin Twp. Little did I know how much you would both impact and change my life forever! You somehow convinced me to girls recreational basketball. Then you talked me into joining you to start a program for the under served community of kid and we named it “The Franklin Thunder” basketball program. We did a number of township and community activities together where I watched and learned from you what it means to truly love, believe, and support the children.
I will continue serving forever because of you! The many, many drives to Rutgers Womens Basketball games together. You placing ALL of your PBA cards on the dash of my Mercury Grand Marquis as we drove back from UCONN in the snow! You dragging me out of the gym in Middlesex because a parent said racist things to my Franklin Travel Team.
I was young then and just not having it! LOL! My God how I could just keep going old friend. But instead let me say thank you for always being my friend! You were indeed a gift from God! Now God has recalled you and I promise to stop crying soon and get back to uplifting your legacy! I will miss you brother. Rest Now As You Well Deserve It! The Stones

RIP Bruce ! Very sad to learn the passing of Bruce Medley , an amazing guy. Always a pleasure to see Bruce at the ball games, it was an added bonus. Rutgers athletics and Bruce were synonymous together.
Though our words can do little, we hope our thoughts and prayers will encourage you this period and always as you mourn, the passing soul.
