The world lost a real legend last night. Gary Golden, I am heartbroken to read the news of your passing. You changed my life and the lives of so many students. Forever looking up to you for your mentorship, wisdom, and zest for life. Love to my Muskies and the Golden family.

Just heard the news that Professor Gary Golden has passed away.. I have no words. Gary was one of the BEST and most caring professors (not to mention absolutely hilarious). I took so many of Gary’s classes (and I wasn’t even a business major, but I loved his classes and him) he always gave me encouragement and could just brighten up any day. I had a card sitting on my desk ready to send him this week. Muskingum just won’t be the same without him. Thinking of his wife, Paula, and his family, and everyone who had the great blessing of working with Gary.

As we mourn this loss together, let us remain thankful for the lives of everyone around us, ranging from our family members, friends, partners, colleagues etc.

Remember to hug the ones we love a little harder every day.

Our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers are with the family, friends and everyone in grief.

We encourage you all to respect the dead and accord the family heartbroken with the loss of a cherished one, some privacy as you leave a message in the comment session.
