A unique soul with a great personality has an amazing sense of humour, diligent and caring.

He always brought light to every room entered. And will be dearly missed by family, friends and everyone.

He’s been in the pediatric ICU for nearly a year, with 25+ weeks post heart and liver transplants. Anthony is truly an incredible person that just needs a moment for good thoughts and a little love. The note below is from his father, Tony Parodi.
“Eleven months and two weeks since our 16 year old son Anthony came into the Pediatric ICU on February 3, 2020. It’s now twenty-five weeks+ since his heart and liver transplants, and the hopeful outcome we expected has been smashed by problems outside the medical team’s control; it’s gut wrenching to think this, I’m at a loss for words watching him fight for his life.

It would have been a rigorous recovery under normal circumstances but with the pandemic and everything else that happened in 2020 it turned into the perfect storm. There’s strength in numbers and we need your help. Please say a prayer to whatever God you believe in, or simply keep our son in your loving thoughts hoping that the positive energy will help him.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of our Belen brother Anthony Parodi ‘23. After a long and courageous battle, Anthony passed in the loving presence of his family.

Through his physical struggle, he was able to more powerfully unite the already strong community that is Belen. It was Anthony and his classmates who inspired this year’s theme of Band of Brothers.

Thank you for your constant prayers for Anthony. Thank you for your emails, text messages, meals, gifts, rosaries, and Masses. Please continue to keep the Parodi family in your prayers.
