A unique soul with a great personality has an amazing sense of humor, diligent and caring.

He always brought light to every room entered. And will be dearly missed by family, friends, and everyone.

Our beloved Brandon Hensel, a student at Central Connecticut State University, 22 years old, passed away from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle crash in his hometown on Monday at Danbury Hospital.

Hensel was driving on Toddy Hill Road early Sunday when he crashed near the street’s intersection with Quarry Ridge Road, according to police.

When emergency personnel responded to the scene, police said they found a 1999 Ford Explorer on a Quarry Ridge property with Hensel inside the vehicle.

Brandon Hensel’s obituary is not public at the time, we will share more as we learn about the obituary and possibly funeral.

He was an incredibly intelligent person, with the best sense of humor. He lit up every room he entered with his beautifully contagious smile and positive energy.

Brandon was an amazing friend, cousin, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and son. My family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover his memorial, as well as medical costs.

There are no words to express the situation we are experiencing, but as many of you know my little brother has tragically passed away on Monday due to a car accident.
