On Easter Sunday heaven gained my dancing angel.
To Desiree Robbins: I can’t wrap my head around that this has happened, but I am glad that you are no longer suffering. You have always been a second momma to me, and I’m beyond thankful to say that. I love you dearly.

You believed in me when nobody else did, and gave me a shot to assist and travel with you, and stay with you any time I needed a place to crash. When I think of you I can immediately hear your laugh, and see that bright smile, hearing you calling me ‘mi amore” whenever I assist you, Santana, and some Paula Abdul. You were just such a blessing to the people around you. Just a star…honestly you were, and I’m going to miss you so much, but I’ll see you again Desi.

I know you’ll be my guardian angel always. You are a gem, a joy to those who knew you, and I was blessed enough to not just call you one of my instructors, but a friend, a second mom, and one of the best mentors. I have so many memories I want to share, and It’s not fair that you’re gone. It is so heartbreaking to acknowledge that. However, I know you’re leaping and ball changing in heaven right now on a beach.

I don’t think I’d know where I would be right now if I didn’t have you to help guide me. Missing you like crazy rockstar, but we will see eachother again. I wish I could have said goodbye, but now I have the memories to remember, and the text messages to reread. No matter what I’ll push everyday for you Desiree. She will forever be known for her boundless energy, dazzling smile and strengths as a motivator and educator to generations of dancers. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
