It is with great sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Dr. Michael Paul Good on Friday May 28th 2021.

He was a selfless man who devoted himself to veterinary medicine and animal rescue all over the world.

We miss him with all our hearts.

Please join us in celebrating his life during a memorial at the Marietta First Baptist Church (148 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060) on Sunday, June 6th.

Visitations will start at 12:30PM, and the service will begin at 2:00PM.

Please honor Dr. Good’s legacy by supporting a local animal rescue charity in lieu of flowers.

 

This is the most difficult and saddest post I have ever had to create. Our founder and fearless leader Dr. Good has passed away. Dr. Good was truly unique.

He did not just exist but existed to make a difference! He was passionate about animals and animal rescue. He has saved countless, and I truly mean countless, four legged lives! Dr. Good founded Homeless Pets Foundation (HPF), Homeless Pet Clubs (HPC) and The Underhound Railroad.

He opened his veterinary practice, Town and Country, to pets that had no homes and offered them shelter until they were adopted by their new parent(s). HPC was founded to provide a solution to the endless homeless pets population by educating our next generation, providing communities, and businesses a means to get involved and tell their stories. He was our visionary and the voice of the voiceless.

Dr. Good seemed invincible to all who knew him and our hearts will forever be filled with adoration. Always believe, ONE person CAN make a difference.

The animals in Heaven were all talking to each other asking ” Why are so many gathering to watch this next person cross over Rainbow Bridge? The rescue animals gathered up front. The Angel’s told them. ” That is Dr. Michael Good. He is a rescue person and vet. This special man has helped thousands of animals not only find good homes, he has taken care of their health with passion and love. So much so that he formed Homeless Pets Foundation and Clubs. The animals in front are ones he has rescued over the years.

They have been waiting for Dr. Michael Goods turn before they crossed over. Now they will follow behind him to escort him across the Rainbow Bridge together. NOW THAT WILL BE A LONG PARADE.

Though our words can do little, we hope our thoughts and prayers will encourage you this period and always as you mourn, the passing soul.

May you find comfort knowing that life continues forever in heaven even as the memories shared live forever in our hearts.
