Sisters, for those of you who don’t know, we lost a dear sister from Tidewater & Epsilon Chi yesterday far too young after giving birth to her beautiful baby boy Maddox. Both she and her husband are from Longwood and her husband is a Virginia Beach local. He graduated from Kempsville High. He’s now trying to figure out how to live without his best friend and to raise their babies (baby Maddox was just born yesterday).
So many of us were impacted by Eli Burr in so many ways. She was the absolute sweetest human and the definition of what a sister of Alpha Delta Pi should be. Please send all of your love & prayers to her family during this time, but also to those sisters who are deeply impacted by this loss.
Hey everyone, today I’m grateful for my brave hearted friend Shawn for sharing his journey with us these past 24hrs. What a tough time and we stand solid here with him through the simultaneous grief and joy he’s experiencing. A fellow classmate from our high school started a gofundme and family and friends have been freely giving to help lighten the Burr’s load just a bit, and say we’re here and we care.
