Ernie Simpson death: According to the media announcement, Ernie Simpson has passed away.
In the loving memory of Professor Ernie, we are saddened to inform that Ernie Simpson, a beloved one and loyal friend, has passed away on 12th February, 2021 due to brief battle with Cancer at the age of 78.
A unique soul with a great personality has an amazing sense of humour, diligent and caring.
He always brought light to every room entered. And will be dearly missed by family, friends and everyone.

A very sad day as we lost such a great guy. Ernie Simpson was many things to me including a mentor, educator, coach, and friend. He was somebody who I always enjoyed talking to no matter if it were about sports, school, or work.
He was somebody who I believe really cared about each and every one of his students/players and that was shown by his continued support of me even after leaving Northview. He provided me with so much support throughout high school, college, and even with moving into the professional world.
He was such a great motivator and left an impact on so many lives throughout his years, and I say this with great confidence. I will definitely miss seeing this guy around and the smiles he would create as well. Praying for his Mother and his family through these tough times. · …lost another great guy. 2001 grad Ernie Simpson has passed away. Ernie was a guard and played and worked hard. He later became a coach and worked to perfect his craft. He was currently was Director of HR at Clay Community schools. I’ll post more info as I learn it. Rest in peace Ernie!
