I’m heartbroken by the passing of Middlesex County NJ Government Commissioner Kenneth Armwood.
Starting in public service at age 19, Ken lived and breathed public service. He was a true champion for Middlesex County, and he had so much still to do and give back.

Commissioner Armwood was a gentle giant and helped the Edison Police Department in many ways during his tenure at the Edison Job Corps Center when dealing with the youth. I am tearing up writing this post. I am heartbroken over the passing of my friend Kenneth Armwood.
Ken was one of the nicest and most decent people I knew. He was a rarity in New Jersey politics – he never said anything bad about anyone and was the epitome of public service and getting involved young.
We shared a love of 80s movies like Coming to America – I remember a night, years ago, when we stayed up late watching Coming to America for the hundredth time laughing at every single scene while our other friends in the house looked at us with confusion.
He was truly one of the best and so many days I was down and out because of the negativity and vitriol in politics and government, I thought of Ken Armwood and he immediately would lift me up.
The good, truly in this case, die young. Rest in Peace Ken
Though our words can do little, we hope our thoughts and prayers will encourage you this period and always as you mourn, the passing soul.
