The Sewing Community Has Lost a Great Teacher
We are devastated to announce that Louis Carney passed away suddenly in Atlanta. Born in Kansas City, sewing since he was 12, Louis earned a B.A. in fashion design and headed to New York City. Everywhere he went, his larger-than-life personality made him friends.

Louis’s family, would request for those wanting to honor him, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
No one who knew him will ever forget him. His teaching touched so many lives. He will be sorely missed.
