Learned today of the passing of Mark Seabrook. He was a pillar of our community, a true servant at heart. Mark would show up and push snow off your driveway, change out a sump pump or whatever he saw a need.
Mark was a caring husband, father, grandfather, a man of faith and a public servant. Mark liked to tell stories and I have several to tell. Like most, Mark buried our family members, my father at 12 years old, my grandmother, aunt and uncle along with other family members. He was always there in our time of need.
Mark was on the Police Merit Commission when I was hired in 1991. It was a privilege and honor to work with Mark as a Floyd County Commissioner. He will be missed. Please keep his family in thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

RIP Mark Seabrook! This man did something for me that I could not ever thank him enough for. My dad made a phone call to him July 2008, that is the day he learned my son Lucas passed. Well that day he told us not to worry about the funeral… he donated my sons whole funeral to me! I could never thank him enough. He was a great man!
