It’s with a heavy heart that I report to you all the passing of Mary Zinck. Mary was a lifelong resident of Newburyport and raised her children with all the love in her heart. She committed herself to truth and honesty and I always held her with great respect because of that. Mary volunteered for the city on the board of registers for 25 years and she never missed a beat. She also was a brief moderator here on the Newburyport Commons page and she fought hard in her run for city council. Very sad to see her obituary today my heart goes out to her husband David and her four children. With the only silver lining I can think of is her reunion with her beloved Trista up in the heavens above. Rest easy Mary, May your soul be at peace.
I just read the obituary of Mary Zinck!! Oh no, no, no! Although not know her, I know of her and how much she positively influenced our city and residents. This is so sad and my heart and prayers go out to Dave (one of the jolliest people and hard worker I know) and their children. I am so sorry for this incredible tragedy to all that were blessed to have been touched by her. God bless Mary (& Trista)!
