So sad… Loved this guy!

I remember the day I met him … my very first class on The Hill at WKU… lots of laughter & instant friendship. Paul was on my creative team & my stand in at WKU when I lost my voice just before the regional advertising competition to go to nationals. I’d practiced for days…Paul being the consummate professional & already doing broadcasting at that time, practiced for one morning & nailed the presentation even better! He went on to serve on The Weather Channel for years & our last convo, he was working nationally with voice overs. He was always kind, funny & jovial! As Brad says below.. A GOOD MAN!

We haven’t had a long catch up for 5 years, but we remained in touch on FB with short contacts & I’m so sad to see this. He was a forever pal!

God bless you, Paul… too young… always a gentleman… see you on the other side my friend. Paul Emmick RIP

I was saddened this morning learning the death of this GREAT individual Mr. Paul Emmick. I worked with him at Owensboro on the Air. He later joined The Weather Channel. He had a great voice and was the nicest guys I have ever met. He also had a Law Degree and he was a great emcee. But most of all he was a kind soul. Just way to young. R.I.P. Paul, You did it well here on earth.
