Our beloved Randy Marshman, amazing husband to Megan Fate Marshman has unexpectedly passed away on the 21st of Feb. 2021, at the age of 36, due to a heart attack.

My wonderful nephew Randy Marshman passed away last Sunday from a massive heart attack.

My family is heartbroken that we have lost such a lovely, funny, wonderful, husband, father, son, brother, nephew.

When we had family gatherings, Randy would arrive and the whole room would light up.

He was only 36 years old. Life can throw you terrible surprises. Our prayers are with his beautiful wife Meghan and their two beautiful boys.

As you’ve most likely heard by now, this has been an incredibly difficult week for Megan and her family to endure.

February 21st, Megan’s husband, and the love of her life, Randy Marshman, passed away as a result of a heart attack.

As you can imagine, Megan is in the midst of experiencing the sting of death but is finding the daily courage to meet it head on through the overwhelming love and support from her family and closest friends.

That Sunday morning at church, Arbor Road was concluding a short series called “Because…” based on God’s answers to our ‘Why God’ questions. The text that day was Isaiah 55:8-11 And we were looking into those times when God simply responds to us: “Just trust Me.”

Megan is fully engaging the gravity of trusting God firsthand and in the most profound ways. The days have been full of tears, endless heartwarming stories of Randy’s life, and much needed hugs.

The days have also been marked by beautiful signs of God’s faithfulness and presence, even in the midst of this pain and sorrow.

Stories have been passed along to Megan of everyone’s love, support and prayer for her, Foster and Jedidiah. Please know that she is so very grateful and humbled by the tremendous outpouring of care.

The family asks for your continued prayers for God’s ongoing nearness, comfort, and guidance as we all walk with Megan on this journey of grief.
